Inside Sales Manager

LOCATION:              Two Harbors, MN

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for leading and managing our inside sales team, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth through effective communication and customer engagement. The Inside Sales Manager will work closely with other departments to meet sales targets and achieve company objectives.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage inside sales representatives to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Supervise inside salesclerk and ensure that all instructions regarding the defines processes are followed.
  • Follows directions for reporting, accuracy and timeliness of all RFQ, quotes, reports
  • Assist with the technical side of quotations.
  • Prepare RFQ and quotes as required.
  • Ensure the accuracy of quotes issued by the inside sales department and follow the inside sales

               process.

  • Process PO’s customer orders with accuracy and ensure that they are booked ASAP.
  • Prepare sales materials for special meeting with dealers.
  • Learn and master SalesForce CRM and be comfortable training and instructing staff as required.
  • Make recommendations for improvements in process to the Director of Sales.
  • Answer dealer questions or direct to the correct department and follow up. Ensure salesmen are copied.
  • Report to Director of Sales on weekly basis regarding weekly workload and lists of work outstanding.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  •   The ability to handle challenging conversations with dealers and sales personnel.
  •   Excellent scheduling skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year to three (3) years of experience in sales.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with CAD software (Solidworks) preferred.
  • Experience with an ERP (Epicor) preferred.
  • Experience with SalesForce CRM preferred.
  • Proficient in the following software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
