Robotic Weld Specialist
Job Summary:
A Robotic Weld Specialist is critical in developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving robotic welding systems used in the fabrication of heavy-duty material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of robot programming and manual welding.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Configure and program robotic welders in the production of material handling equipment.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize robotic work cells.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotics and automation equipment.
Maintain documentation of robotic processes, changes, and updates.
Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
Ensure all robotic systems comply with safety regulations and company standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Proficient in programming and operating robotic systems, preferably FANUC.
Experience with manual wire-feed welding.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Familiarity with safety standards and compliance, including OSHA and ANSI/RIA guidelines.
Attention to detail.
Works well with others.
Education and Experience:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience working with industrial robotics in a manufacturing environment, preferably with heavy machinery or material handling equipment.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

SALARY: $30.00-$40.00
